Independence Square to Consett Bay - 26km

B'town to Belleplaine

Starting at what today is the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal in the heart of Bridgetown, the original train route made its way out of the City climbing alongside the Belle Gully through Licorish Village to the top of My Lord's Hill and into St. George . It then passed through a number of plantation and sugar factories in St. George, Christ Church and St. Philip eventually coming down almost to sea level again via the famous Consett Cut.
